Onyx ESD

Onyx ESD meets ESD-safe requirements of the most stringent manufacturers, while maintaining the same industry-leading print quality of Onyx. It is a static-dissipative chopped carbon fibre nylon material which is stronger and stiffer than Onyx, while producing the same near flawless surface finish. Suitable for advanced manufacturing applications like industrial robotics, automation and electronics assembly.

Used for its electrical and thermal conductivity, Copper is a soft, ductile metal. This makes Copper an ideal choice for many heat sinks and exchangers and power distribution components. The ability to print pure copper using Metal X 3D printer enables geometrically optimised parts that were previously expensive, time consuming, or impossible to make.

Composites

Carbon Fibre

Carbon Fibre is a unique, ultra-high-strength Continuous Fibre which when laid into a Composite Base material like Onyx, can yield parts as strong as 6061-T6 Aluminum. It’s extremely stiff and strong and comes in a fire-retardant form for use with Onyx FR plastic.

Aramid Fibre

Aramid Fibre is a Kevlar® based, specialized Continuous Fibre known for its extreme toughness and energy absorption. It can be laid into Onyx or another Composite Base material to produce impact-resistant parts especially for demanding environments or where subject to repetitive loading.

High Strength High Temperature (HSHT) Fiberglass

High Strength High Temperature (HSHT) Fiberglass provides high strength (nearly equal to 6061-T6 Aluminium) and maintains strength in high temperatures.

Fiberglass

Fiberglass is a base-level continuous fibre material capable of producing parts 10x stronger than ABS when embedded into a composite base material while providing a more affordable alternative to carbon fibre.
